March for Life Ottawa 2007

Inspirational, moving, profound. Just a few adjectives that can be used to describe the 10th annual March for Life in Ottawa Ontario. An incredibly high percentage of youthful participants chanted "we are pro life, mighty mighty pro life" and "hey, ho, abortion's got to go" through the streets of downtown Ottawa. Father Frank Pavone and several Canadian MPs gave invigorating speeches during the Parliament Hill rally prior to the March itself. Pavone's reference to the U.S. Supreme Court decision upholding the ban on partial birth abortion drew raucous applause from the crowd.
Surprisingly, only a small handful of 6 or 8 pro-abortion, pro-homosexual counter-protesters made an appearance. They were subdued and seemed to be eventually completely faded out of the picture by the overwhelming love and determination of the pro life demonstrators.
